Cousins are the best friends that God picks for us. Friends that know us as well as they know themselves. Friends that he places in our lives that we wouldn't know we needed. Friends that he places in our lives that hold special places. Friends that hold their own special places in our hearts all for their own unique reasons.
My name for my blog My Picket Fence of Faith: Picket Fence: idea of as a little girl many of us dream of a house surrounded by a white picket fence, handsome husband & beautiful children; I don't literally have a white picket fence but blessed with everything else. Cousins....Cheering, Clapping and Encouraging.
Some are older and some are younger, but at the end of the day each one is someone's hero. Just like brothers and sisters, they laugh, they play and they fight. But at the end of the day they all have each others backs. Saturday at my side of the families Easter gathering, Elizabeth found both prize eggs and I watched that sweet girl give one to her one of her cousins. All on her own she did that not even knowing how much was inside either one she found.
On Sunday at our other Easter gathering with our other side of the family we watched three cousins and a big brother trying to teach a very tired little girl to ride her bike without training wheels. Not only were they trying to teach her, they were also cheering and clapping for her.
Why don't we do this as adults? As kids we do it. As kids we cheer for each other and clap for each other and encourage each other. As we grow up it's like we lose sight of what's important! We may not be perfect parents but I think we are doing pretty good so far. Proud Aunt and Mom of all of our kiddos!!

They become what we speak to them!!
Yesterday was our Elizabeth's K-Building Field Day. She was so excited the night before you would have thought Santa Claus or the Easte...
